How to Find Your Life Purpose, Part 2

Part 2 of finding your life purpose is all about researching yourself. You will use numerology and astrology to point some things out that you may not have thought about before or things about yourself that you hadn’t noticed before.

I have created a print out for you to use to take notes. Print it out & grab your favorite pen or pencil. As you’re taking notes, write down aspects of the descriptions that resonate with you most. Also, make sure to note some of the shadow sides of the descriptions because we have to move through our dark to get to our light.

Numerology

We are going to begin with using numerology to learn more about who we are and what we can become. We will go over 3 of our core numbers in our charts and how they will help us find our life purpose.

These core numbers are the Life Path, Birth Day, and Expression numbers.

The best website for finding and calculating each of your numbers is worldofnumerology.com

Life Path – The path your soul is going

Birth Day Number– the tools and gifts that help you along your path

Expression Number -describes how you’ll go about achieving you life purpose. It is how you express your life path. Remember that you use your name as it is on your original birth certificate.

Felicia Bender– for definitions/ explanations of the numbers (she has a Youtube channel too!)

Make sure to Google search “Numerology life path (number)”, “Numerology birth day (number), and “Numerology expression (number). Although each number has a basic meaning, this will give you many different numerologists’ perspectives.

Astrology

Example natal chart from astro.com.
The Pink circled items are what we will be using today.

Natal Chart: astro.com

You will first need to have your natal chart done. The best one I have found and that I highly recommend you use is on astro.com. It is free to do your chart. However you do need your full date of birth and time of birth (you can do a chart without your time of birth, however you will need the info to get the best results for finding your life purpose). Make sure to save your chart once you’ve got it. If you do it on your phone, make sure to take a screen shot.

The Nodes: astrostyle.com

For now we are looking for our North Node or it’s also called the True Node.

Your North Node is your soul mission. Your South Node is going to tell you the gifts and talents you were born with. We need to learn to be cautious with these gifts because they come so naturally to us that they can keep us stuck in our comfort zone. One of my favorite sites for reading about the Nodes is astrostyle.com because not only do they tell you all the good stuff about your nodes but they also tell you about the things you need to work on.

The House:

Now that you know your North Node, it’s time to look at what House it is in (this is why you need your time of birth). The house will tell you how to fulfill your life purpose and soul mission.

You can google search “astrology (house number) north node” and many sites will pop up. It’s good to look at several because although the generic house description doesn’t change, the wording from different readers changes and one of them may say something that really clicks or resonates with you more than another. The site I use most is astrostyle.com, but I recently came upon Lada Duncheva’s Youtube Channel and she is very good at explaining astrology as well.

Remember to have fun doing this research! 🙂

Please leave me a comment to let me know something you found out about yourself that didn’t know before or any other insights that are helping you along your way.

I truly hope you found this helpful. And I appreciate your time today. I wish you peace, love, and happiness. Always. -Alisha AE
